Pedra Branca Results and other issues

As expected, Singapore won the ownership of Pedra Branca. We own the lighthouse now!

Anyway, ICJ also awarded the middle rock to Malaysia. I guess they were not "packaged" with Pedra Branca back in the 1860s.

The ownership of the south ledge will be determined when Malaysia and Singapore agree on their respective national boundary in that area. It is likely that it will be owned by Malaysia.

Nevertheless, it was a well-deserved victory which meant so much for Singapore.

Other issues

Math practices have been placed in your lead.com via the announcement. Only 6H and 6R pupils will receive them. Answers will be posted next Tue. (Answers will not be typed out)

Holidays!!

Hey people!

It's finally here!!! The beautiful holidays we have all been waiting for!

Holidays=sleeping late+waking up late+not much homework+ more computer time+sadly, some studying each week+no complains from me. *Sigh* No can do, people, it's PSLE year.

On the plus side, it's time to get pumped and excited this June. There's the food fair going on now, the Popular fair, all held at the EXPO (don't ask me what hall, I always forget details) and....the yoyo competition some of our class mates took part in today and yeah, for gamers online, you get to play more and yeah....whatever you do during this time of the year.... At least, I know who's excited at the moment; me and the P4s and P5s!!! YES!! I can hear them scream so clearly despite BLACK EYED PEAS pounding in my ears from the speakers at school. Gosh! This just reminds me of all the fun we had last year, OK, so I missed a whole night of it, but dragon boating was sure fun!! AND the leadership camp! I remember I totally cried there. *Sigh* Don't you just love P5 last year? Hopefully, when I go to Sec 1, I'll remember P6 as well as I can remember P5 now....Don't you just love memories?

The TOOTH

Hi this is me Edwin I am posting on blog because of the TOOTH. It is so scary. Ok this is what happened. Out of the blue, Kevin, kicked out a decayed tooth from under his table. Wei chong saw it and he pick it up with his ruler and something else and drop it.After that he told us(me kevin,darly and somemore people but i forgot who)about it.He threw the decayed tooth on wei jie paper and wei jie threw it to my table,i use my ruler and hit it to darly toh chair.After that ryan came with his blue tack and ask wei chong to pick it up.wei chong did wat he said and brought it to megun table magun thought wei chong to throw it away and than u (Mr Wan)came than u told wei chong throw it away and than some people including me got punished.Ok i would like to ask u all a question,does a tooth decay when it is already pluck out from ur mouth.I pity megun because she is not the one who talk i think the girl that talk should face the consequences and get punished.muhahahahaha... ok that's all.

Difficulty in Booking Parent-teacher Meeting

Dear 6H pupils,

If your parent experiences difficulties in booking the parent-teacher meeting, please leave your name in the comment page. I'll contact your parent for booking on Tuesday after I receive the schedule from the office.

Currently, I do not know how many slots are available. Neither am I able to check who has booked a slot.

So far, I'm aware of Megan's, Wei Chong's and Donavon's parents having difficulties with the booking. I'll be contacting them on Tue.

Also, please inform them to bring your Science OAS, Booklet B along if they want to know what is wrong with your Science. As for Maths, the Booklet B is with me. So, I'll look from there and return the Maths Booklet B to your parent.

Should there be any further queries, please leave them in the comment page. I'll look into them tomorrow.

Hey people!!

For those who got the top five rankings for Science and Maths, well done!!! Sadly, who knows who the first for English in the class is a total mystery, guess we all have to sit and wait, or, not that it's a very good thing to do, is to pester our teachers!!! Lol, sorry, Mr. W. Joking.

First, I am so, so, so sorry that I haven't been posting the homework and announcements and stuff on the blog since, well, forever? Sorry you guys!!!

Next, now that exams are over, it's time for us to play hard and enjoy!!!!! And ok, those who haven't exactly hit their target scores yet have to study harder I guess, but hey, take a little time off for a week or so to just loosen your over-stressed exam nerves!!

Finally, I guess we all have to thank our really cool teachers for helping us to score high marks. Even if you didn't, it's Ok. But still. Thanks Mr. W and Mrs. N!!

Uh. Fine. Homework. I know. Can you believe it!? The exams are just over and the teachers are STILL giving work to us?! Talk about cruel!! At least they should have a little time off marking our very handwriting and let us have a homework/studying break! Kidding =)

2) Two motorists, A and B, started travelling from the same end of a road at the same time. They were travelling in the same direction as a cyclist at a distance ahead. After travelling for 6 minutes, Motorist A overtook the cyclist. 2 minutes later, Motorist B overtook the same cyclist. Given that Motorist A and Motorist B travelled at an average speed of 1000m/min and 800m/min respectively, find the average speed of the cyclist.

3) At 7.30am, a bus left Town P for Town Q travelling at an average speed of 60km/h. 15 minutes later, a car left Town Q for Town P. The car reached Town P at 10.45am. The bus reached Town Q at 12 noon.

why i was talking in class

after Mrs Nasir left the class,then me and alicia started talking but we were not really talking that loudly as not many people heard us.we did not mean no talk as alicia was just asking me a question so i had to reply instead of saying keep quiet.then if i say that people will start to find me very irrritating and will start to not talk to me what.then i will be a loner.i mean we are just talking for a minute.then if everybody in the class don't talk,how can?at least talk for awhile and don't talk so loud.then how can very pupil not talk for awhile the teacher just leave the class and the next teacher has not come yet.at least just a word or two to someone.unless you are a loner than you won't say anything and do your own stuff.

hi everyone
thought that you guys were very confused over the little dispute that I had to shout out to the class that Wednesday over Health Ed.
I'm sorry that I reacted too harshy but I wasn't in a very good mood that dae because hardly anyone came to talk to me so I felt a little lonely.
And I got so worked up over it that I had to rant. I'm sorry.
I didn't think before I acted. Now if I thought over the issue, I feel like it was just stupid to do what I did. It's just weird.
I guess I do have a world of friends whom I haven't really thought about.
Like Joey, Genevieve, Glynis, Esther, Charlotte,Sabrina and maybe , even potential ppl who apply to me as friends if I do something cool like Alicia, Megan or even Charis....
And of course those who would like to say something pls feel free to write your comment.

And if you have any problems, feel free to come to me for friendly counselling.
I've solved Abigail's(last year classmate, remember?) problem about having to suffer in her group. I persuaded Mr Wan to change her group for her. The plan worked and now we're the best of friends. Come to me if you've got the feeling called ....... anywae I think you guys know what I'm talking about.
