BEAT YOU TO IT! Have already started to write stories (or whatever you wanna call em) wit ten thousand chapters since last year :) :)and some fanfics that are crazily long. Check em! http://foreverzutto.livejournal.com
I think this is the hundredth time you've mentioned about your teacher relatives.
-.- eh okay hehes... well, I juz decided I don't wanna go to SOTA already and my parents perfectly respect my opinion. So I'm taking up writing. I'm sodarned bored and I've quit writing journals already (juz in case you wanna know, or FYI)and it makes me feel soooooo happy.
But hey. I'll post my own fanfics on fanfic.net and you can browse them. I already also started on writing a book called You Forgot Bout' Me. Wun tell ya wad it really is about though. btw good luck for your other future books!:D
Juz saw an interesting book titled 'i'd tell you I love you, but then I'd have to kill you.' check it out soon! :) XD
P.S. Blood moon will have loads of cliffhangers. My own schoolmates got so worked up over it they practicaly screeched over the cliffhanger parts to make me finish them.
Not bragging, though.
my teacher hates cliffhangers. only stuff that create an impact ;) you know, like, but why her?.......and so on.
no offence, but dont think you shld call it books yet coz its not quite published. lol. i just call mine "works"
and my LJ acc isnt a journal, just a fansite kinda thing. ;)
Personally, I like short stories and I don't read English story books that go beyond 10 pages haha.
I believe I told you that my composition improved because I read comics. That's a fact. I hardly completed reading any English story books filled with any words since the day I knew how to read the letter "A".
On the cliffhangers, I believe teachers do not encourage it in compositions as they give bad endings most of the times.
However, in storybooks, the more cliffhangers, the better. Imagine you're a reader and you can't get your eyes off the book you're reading. That spells the success of a writer.
I'd encourage Jean to write cliffhangers in her books to come, but NOT in compositions. That's suicidal.
Writing a good story takes a lot of experience to build up. Most authors lose out in character development, even my favourite comic book authors.
The consistency of the characteristics of your story's main characters is vital if you're pursuing the path of a book writer. As for composition, there is too little time to develop a character fully to the favour of your markers.
0.o okay thx mr wan :)
nice one mr.wan! hey jean! add more cliffhangers and drive yr friends NUTS!
