Unclear questions 6 and 7
Hi all,
I'm pasting Qn 6 and 7 as some of you got the "short" versions.
Q6) Xueli used some coloured beads to make a bag. 44% of the beads used were green and the rest were either orange or blue. The ratio of the number of orange beads to blue beads used was 3:5. If she used 46 or more green beads than orange beads, how many bead did she use in all? [4]
Q7) A fruiterer sold 140 apples in the morning. In the afternoon, he sold 50% of the remaining apples. As a result, the number of apples left became 1/6 of the number of apples he had at first. How many apples did the fruiterer have at first? [4]
Q6 is a "total remain unchanged" while Q7 is a "one variable changed". Have fun.
My apologies,
Mr Wan
